Spreading the word with Civic Voice and partners"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Context_148_frontcover-e1491587427760.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-15348\" src=\"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Context_148_frontcover-211x300.png\" alt=\"Context 148 front cover\" width=\"211\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/strong>The latest edition of the IHBC\u2019s membership journal <em>Context<\/em> is now out, themed around the 50th Anniversary of the Civic Amenities Act and the birth pf Conservation Areas, with Civic Voice, England\u2019s link body for civic groups, taking 500 copies for distribution to its members to help raise awareness of the Act and how IHBC members help care for local Conservation Areas.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><u><\/u>IHBC Vice Chair Kathy Davies, guest commissioning editor for the issue, said: \u2018We\u2019re already getting huge congratulations and complementary feedback and on this special issue.\u00a0 I\u2019m delighted with its success and I\u2019d like to offer special thanks to the authors who have contributed so much and to the organisations that will be promoting it, including the Civic Voice and the Gardens Trust, which will both distribute free copies\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Articles in the latest issue, No.148, will feature in future NewsBlogs and social media posts, and include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Antecedents from the American South &#8211;
