The Supreme Court has given Dover District Council and developer China Gateway International permission to appeal a Court of Appeal ruling that quashed permission for a 521-dwelling development in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) following the conclusion that Dover\u2019s planning committee had not given adequate reasons for its view on how much harm the scheme would cause, or on whether it could be viably modified to mitigate that harm.<\/h3>\n
