The IHBC\u2019s London Branch is organising\u00a0a joint seminar with the archaeologists’ professional body CIfA on 28 February toexamine theory, policy and implementation concerning the inclusion of historic environment policies in local plans, with all welcome to the venue on Cowcross Street.<\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

London Branch Chair Sheila Stones said: \u2018We are delighted to promote this joint event with CIfA, focussing on decision-making in local planning authorities and on how to make well-informed and effective local plans for the historic environment\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018Speakers will provide experience and differing viewpoints relating to the impact of recent changes in legislation and Government guidance to planning on heritage.\u2019<\/p>\n

The seminar will be of interest to those concerned with the protection of London’s historic environment and those involved in delivering the conservation of heritage assets and protection outcomes.<\/p>\n
