He says surveys have continued to identify buildings that have been \u2018mutilated rather than protected\u2019 and may now be delisted.<\/p>\n<p>Other topics mentioned in his summary include ecclesiastical exemptions, the future of thatched cottages and planning in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>It also contains articles looking at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>fa\u00e7ade retention<\/li>\n<li>the interrelated problems of damp, dry rot, insulation and energy conservation in historic structures<\/li>\n<li>protecting our built heritage<\/li>\n<li>dating historic buildings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The HBC was established under Article 198 of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.
