{"id":14705,"date":"2017-01-18T16:27:28","date_gmt":"2017-01-18T16:27:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=14705"},"modified":"2017-01-18T16:27:28","modified_gmt":"2017-01-18T16:27:28","slug":"hlf-extends-crowdfunding-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=14705","title":{"rendered":"HLF extends crowdfunding programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has extended its pilot UK crowdfunding scheme until the end of February.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>From total funding \u00a3125,000, the Crowdfunder website will pledge up to 25% of the target on behalf of the Heritage Lottery Fund to a maximum of \u00a310,000 when the following conditions are met:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>projects take place in the UK<\/li>\n<li>applications are led by a not-for-profit organisation<\/li>\n<li>all eligibility criteria have been verified<\/li>\n<li>projects raising a minimum of \u00a34,000<\/li>\n<li>projects use the \u2018All-or-Nothing\u2019 funding option only<\/li>\n<li>approval has been received from the appropriate Heritage Lottery Fund Head of Region or Country<\/li>\n<li>project reaches 25% funded<\/li>\n<li>funding has come from at least five unique backers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pledges will be applied on a first come, first served basis until all funds have been allocated. The match-funding pledge will be allocated prior to the project close date.<\/p>\n<p>The HLF cites the examples of Penzance\u2019s Montol 10th Anniversary Appeal when the Cornish Culture Association raised more than \u00a34,000 from 128 backers to secure the future of the annual Festival.
