{"id":14584,"date":"2016-12-30T16:16:04","date_gmt":"2016-12-30T16:16:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=14584"},"modified":"2016-12-30T16:16:04","modified_gmt":"2016-12-30T16:16:04","slug":"cabinet-office-new-standards-announced-for-government-grants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=14584","title":{"rendered":"Cabinet Office: New standards announced for government grants"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>The Cabinet Office standards aim to ensure that grants will be effectively managed across government.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The standards will be adopted by all departments to make sure that taxpayers\u2019 money, awarded through government grants, is properly agreed and spent.<\/p>\n<p>The standards include a new Grants Advice Panel to consider \u2018high risk, new and contentious\u2019 expenditure, and any significant increase in funding to existing grant schemes.
