Planning Policy Wales provides national planning policy supporting the protection of the historic environment through the planning system.<\/p>\n
Chapter 6 sets out Wales\u2019s current national planning policy for consideration of the historic environment through the planning system. The revised chapter 6 was the subject of a full public consultation and 75 responses were received.<\/p>\n
The guidance is supplemented by Technical Advice Notes (TANs) and Minerals Technical Advice Notes (MTANs). Welsh Ministers and Planning Inspectors will consider these guidance documents when deciding on called-in planning applications and appeals.<\/p>\n
