Demand the Right Skills for the Repair & Maintenance of Traditional Buildings: ConstructionSkills, English Heritage and the National Heritage Training Group (NHTG) with other sector partners are organising a briefing session in each region in England on the expertise and skills required for the repair and maintenance of traditional buildings.<\/p>\n
These FREE events are aimed at professionals who deal with the pre-1919 building stock and how the need for client demand for skills and how the right expertise in the repair & maintenance project from building professionals to contractors\/craftspeople is essential to quality of work. It will also cover that qualifications and evidence of competency contribute to consistency, health & safety, reduced risks of damage and produce more efficient and effective quality management and by having the right skills in place improves and maintains standards in the sector.<\/p>\n
The sessions will last for no more than 2 hours and will include:<\/p>\n
