{"id":12544,"date":"2016-04-16T16:11:55","date_gmt":"2016-04-16T15:11:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=12544"},"modified":"2016-04-16T16:11:55","modified_gmt":"2016-04-16T15:11:55","slug":"call-for-entries-heritage-angel-awards-till-3-july","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=12544","title":{"rendered":"Call for Entries: Heritage Angel Awards: till 3 July"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><u>There are five categories of Historic England Heritage Angel awards to enter this year, and entries are open until 3 July.<\/u><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Historic England writes:<br \/>\n<\/u>There are five award categories to apply for in 2016:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Best community action project<\/li>\n<li>Best contribution to a heritage project by young people<\/li>\n<li>Best research project<\/li>\n<li>Best rescue of a heritage site<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding contribution to heritage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can apply yourself, or you can nominate another person or group for an award. Just follow the steps below:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Check the eligibilityof the person or group you&#8217;re applying for<\/li>\n<li>Read the award criteria, so you know what our judges are looking for<\/li>\n<li>Check you&#8217;re happy to sign up to theterms and conditions<\/li>\n<li>Complete and email your application form to us by\u00a0midnight Sunday 3 July<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Good luck!<\/p>\n<p>Historic England will be in touch in August to let you know if you&#8217;ve been shortlisted. We&#8217;ll discuss what happens next with shortlisted applicants and share details of the awards ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve been nominated for an award, we&#8217;ll contact you by mid-August with details of the application to check that you are happy to be included in the competition.
