{"id":11924,"date":"2016-01-29T18:34:09","date_gmt":"2016-01-29T18:34:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=11924"},"modified":"2016-01-29T18:34:09","modified_gmt":"2016-01-29T18:34:09","slug":"muslim-councils-uk-building-open-days-visit-my-mosque","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=11924","title":{"rendered":"Muslim Council\u2019s UK Building Open days \u2013 \u2018Visit my mosque\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><u>The Muslim Council of Britain is organising a national weekend of mosque open days throughout the UK, including many historic buildings.<\/u><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n<p><u>The Muslim Council of Britain writes:<br \/>\n<\/u>Mosques across the UK will be sharing tea and refreshments alongside an insight into the day-to-day goings on of a busy Muslim centre of worship.<\/p>\n<p>#VisitMyMosque Day aims to provide a platform for Muslims to reach out to fellow Britons and explain their faith and community beyond the hostile headlines.<\/p>\n<p>Local mosques will also be inviting inter-faith leaders as well, and all will be asked to come together to demonstrate unity and solidarity during what has been a tense time for faith communities.<\/p>\n<p>Mosques from all four countries of the UK, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are involved, and in major cities of the country.
