{"id":11836,"date":"2016-01-20T14:01:25","date_gmt":"2016-01-20T14:01:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=11836"},"modified":"2016-01-22T17:21:12","modified_gmt":"2016-01-22T17:21:12","slug":"construction-industry-council-strategic-review-questionnaire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=11836","title":{"rendered":"Construction Industry Council Strategic Review Questionnaire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Construction Industry Council (CIC) is carrying out a Strategic Review to define its priorities for the next five years and welcomes views from individuals with an interest in CIC, with a closing date of 5 February.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The CIC writes<\/span>:<br \/>\nThe Construction Industry Council (CIC) is the UK\u2019s representative forum for the professional bodies, research organisations and specialist business associations in the construction industry.\u00a0Established in 1988,\u00a0CIC\u00a0now occupies a key role within the\u00a0UK construction industry providing a single authoritative voice on the diverse issues connected with construction for professionals in all sectors of the built environment, through its collective membership of 500,000 individual professionals and more than 25,000 firms of construction consultants.<\/p>\n<p>The current mission of CIC is:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To serve society by promoting quality and sustainability in the built environment.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To give leadership to the construction industry, encouraging unity of purpose, collaboration, continuous improvement and career development.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To add value and emphasis to the work of members.<\/p>\n<p>CIC is now developing its strategic plan for 2016-2020 and we would like to know your organisation&#8217;s views, to help shape and focus the priorities and main activities of CIC over the next 5 years. How can we best promote and support your organisation and the professionals working in the UK\u2019s Construction Industry to achieve\u00a0our mission???Your\u00a0views are extremely important to us.
