{"id":11549,"date":"2015-11-20T18:43:35","date_gmt":"2015-11-20T18:43:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=11549"},"modified":"2015-11-20T18:43:35","modified_gmt":"2015-11-20T18:43:35","slug":"ihbc-ni-and-niapt-promoting-new-partnerships-together","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=11549","title":{"rendered":"IHBC NI and NIAPT: \u2018Promoting New Partnerships\u2019 together"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><u>The IHBC\u2019s <\/u><u>Northern Ireland (NI) Branch and the Northern Ireland Committee of the Association of Preservation Trusts (NIAPT) held their first joint conference at Hillsborough Castle on 10 November, discussing how building preservation trusts can work with partners to promote positive building conservation work and help projects happen on the ground across Northern Ireland.<\/u><\/p>\n<p>IHBC President David McDonald said: \u2018It was a privilege to meet members of the Northern Ireland Branch and I was greatly impressed by their professionalism in dealing with the recent administrative changes to planning and conservation in the Province.\u00a0 The dedication and enthusiasm of the local building preservation trusts and their achievements with limited resources was quite inspiring.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>IHBC NI Branch Chair Andrew McClelland said: \u2018The Northern Ireland Branch was delighted to partner with the Association of Preservation Trusts\u00a0in bringing together the days events at Hillsborough Castle.
