Or are the barriers to making it work insurmountable?<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s your chance to can find out what the experts think \u2013 and get involved yourself \u2013 in a special hour-long online event on Tuesday 17th November.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of an hour-long broadcast, we\u2019ll ask:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Is neighbourhood planning an example of \u2018direct democracy\u2019 working as intended?<\/li>\n<li>Has the sheen come off \u2018localism\u2019?<\/li>\n<li>How can conflict between local and neighbourhood plans be managed?<\/li>\n<li>What role do professional planners have to play in neighbourhood planning?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We\u2019ll be seeking answers to these critical questions from three neighbourhood planning experts who\u2019ll present their case live on our web site.\u00a0 The event will run from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with presentations from three neighbourhood planning experts.
