{"id":11267,"date":"2015-10-14T17:18:05","date_gmt":"2015-10-14T16:18:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=11267"},"modified":"2015-10-14T17:18:05","modified_gmt":"2015-10-14T16:18:05","slug":"latest-green-belt-statistics-for-england-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=11267","title":{"rendered":"Latest green belt statistics for England released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><u>The latest report on the extent of green belt within England has now been released, showing a small decrease in green belt allocation.<\/u><\/p>\n<p><u>DCLG writes:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The extent of the designated Green Belt in England as at 31st March 2015 was estimated at 1,636,620 hectares, around 13% of the land area of England.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall there has been a decrease of 2,000 hectares (around 0.1%) in area of Green Belt between 2013\/14 and 2014\/15.
