{"id":10532,"date":"2015-06-27T16:16:13","date_gmt":"2015-06-27T15:16:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=10532"},"modified":"2015-06-27T16:16:13","modified_gmt":"2015-06-27T15:16:13","slug":"first-100-hlf-grants-research-and-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=10532","title":{"rendered":"First 100 HLF grants: research and celebration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><u>A study of the first 100 completed large grant aided HLF projects has been released which documents their aims and impacts, featuring case studies from throughout the UK where grants were over \u00a35 million.<\/u><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n<p><u>The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) writes:<br \/>\n<\/u>In our latest research study, we focused on the impact of our largest grants \u2013 those of \u00a35million or more. One hundred and seventy-three of these \u2018Major Grants\u2019 have now been made, and the first 100 of them are complete. Many have been finished for a decade or longer, giving us the opportunity to review the long-term, sustained benefits that have been achieved.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HLF has awarded \u00a31billion to the 100 completed Major Grants. A further \u00a32bn has been raised through partnership funding<\/li>\n<li>94 million visits are made each year as a result of these Major Grants \u2013 (a 130% rise).
