{"id":10186,"date":"2015-05-06T17:02:37","date_gmt":"2015-05-06T16:02:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=10186"},"modified":"2015-05-06T17:02:37","modified_gmt":"2015-05-06T16:02:37","slug":"lga-council-guide-on-digital-media-can-help-conservation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=10186","title":{"rendered":"LGA: Council guide on digital media can help conservation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><u>IHBC members involved in promoting awareness of conservation matters for local authorities may be interested in a new guide issued by the Local Government Association (LGA) that offers guidance on using digital media in a local authority context.<\/u><\/p>\n<p><u>The LGA writes:<br \/>\n<\/u>Council communication teams can learn about the cutting-edge digital work going on across local government thanks to a newly-launched online resource.<\/p>\n<p>The Local Government Association and Comms2point0 have launched Digital Councils, a hub for local government on all things social media.<\/p>\n<p>The resource includes guidance on all elements of social media from getting to grips with Twitter and other social networks to building a digital strategy, providing a way for the LGA to work with a range of councils and councillors who can be moving at different speeds.
